Getting your prayers answered

Mark 11 :24
Therefore I say unto you,
What things so ever ye desire,
when ye pray,
[form that desire into words]
believe that ye receive them,
and ye shall have them
.
When some people are under a particular tree, these people will definitely have some of the benefits of the tree. In fact, through His great love and mercies, God does make sure that even His enemies benefit from His goodness. He does give all food, water, health, prosperity without discrimination. In fact, what baffles me is that, when I was yet a sinner God did responded to many of my prayers based on His mercy and because I used His Word(the bible) to pray. This may not sound to many peoples’ theology, yet that’s the truth and I have seen God answering many sinners because they prayed His word.
Dear, getting our request answered does not often mean our ways are pleasing to God. It rather means, God is merciful and as part of His mercies, He makes sure to help us. Look at what Matthew 7: 21—25 have to say below.
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!
Please, note that I used the above words to help me arrive at a point. Well to get our prayers answered after knowing the truth, we need to be sincerely obedient to God. We should not continue to live the old ways after accepting Jesus—doing this will bring the judgement of God. Think about the sons of the prophet Samuel. God punished them because they knew the truth, but turned from it. So, as Christians, living righteously for God after salvation is the prime key to getting prayers answered (read John 14 and 15: 7—8).
Following this, I have four keys which I believe will definitely you in a great way. The keys are; the Word of God, imagination (your intention), faith, and the Name. Having come to this point, let us look at these keys gradually.
The Word of God (John 6: 63)
The Tongue: A Creative Force
by Pastor Charles Capps says, “Words Are The Most Powerful Things in the Universe!
The words you speak will either put you over in life or hold you in bondage. Many people have been held captive in their circumstances by their own words. The absence of God's Word in your life will rob you of faith in His ability. Receive From God! Put yourself in a position to receive God's best for you by speaking His Word. God's creative power is still just as it was in the beginning of time when He stood there and said, "Light-be," and light was. His Word spoken from your mouth and conceived in your heart becomes a spiritual force releasing His ability within you.”

Before explaining the Word of God, we need to first look at the power of words. Words have power and they live. When pronounced they can inspire or hurt because they live. In fact, speaking is empowering words to live. Though words can live when pronounced, their ability to have influence in life depends on the power of the speaker. This is to say, the more powerful a person is, and the more powerful his or her words will be. Think about the decrees of kings and the judgements that judges pronounce and the effect they bring.
If the words of kings, judges, priests have power, then we need to seek to become kings, queens and judges.  This can be done by accepting Jesus Christ as our saviour. The bible says that those who believe on Him are given authorities to become the sons of God. Other chapters of the bible make it clear that once we accept Jesus, we become kings and priest. Remember, become kings and priests automatically makes us judges as Prophet Samuel and other. The truth is, in Christ we are ranked more than them under the new covenant of Jesus Christ.
If our words have power, then what about the Word of God? The answer is His Word is most powerful. Because how powerful his Word is, and the authority they carry, He exalts the Word above His great and Holy Mighty name (Psalm 138:2 for you have exalted your Word above all your name).

This Word which he exalts is very obedient to Him. This word is messenger, worker—the bible says in Genesis chapter that God spoke and created. This means, He sent the Word forth to create after the movement of the Spirit. Psalm 147: 15 say ‘He sends his command to the earth;
his word runs swiftly.’ Also john 1 makes us to know that His word is that which became to live among us to save us, and is called Yeshua.

When the word was upon this earth as the son of God and as man, He said something very important; please see them below.

For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man (John 5: 26—27).

“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." The truth we know and reject will judge us (John 8:32).

There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day( John 12:48).

From reading the above, it is very clear that the Word have power to give life, bring to life and to condemn. Look at what God told Joshua in Joshua 1: 8:

“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”

From these, it is clear that we need to have the Word in us. Having the word in us and using it brings great power and blessings. In fact, when we use the word in prayer, what we are doing is activating the Word and His power to act. When we pray in such a way, the word being spirit and powered by our soul to move through faith and in faith will make our request come to pass. Think about the prophet Ezekiel in Ezekiel 37; he commanded the dead and dry bones to live depending upon the promise of God.

Remember that it was this Word which created the universe. If the word created the universe and we use the Word as priest and kings in Christ, we will also create a smaller universe in the universe our Father and Lord have given us using their power in us—the Word that is, was and became flesh—through the Word many things can become real.

John 15
:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you,
ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
: 8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit;
so shall ye be my disciples

James 3
: 5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things.
Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!
:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity:
so is the tongue among our members,
that it defileth the whole body,
and setteth on fire the course of nature;
and it is set on fire of hell.
:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea,
is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
:8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison.
Mark 11
:23 For verily I say unto you,
That whosoever shall say unto this mountain,
Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea;
and shall
not doubt in his heart,
but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass;
he shall have whatsoever he saith
.
I John 5
:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will,
he heareth us:
:15 And if we know that he hear us,
whatsoever we ask,
we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
We must ask according to His Word. We must put forth effort to know His Word.
Matthew 18
:19 Again I say unto you,
That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask,
it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Psalm 37
Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Very many believers in Christ do not use the word of God in their prayers. They only pray their blah blah and go their way. This has led to many prayers not getting answered. The prayers were not answered because they were not balanced.  For your information, in those on the other side knows the power of the word of God and do use it in their incantations, talismans and amulets. Remember, when Satan came to temp Christ, he quoted the word.

We the children of God need to use the Word in our prayers to obtain the  benefit of the power of the Word as Joshua and many of our fore leaders. Without doing this we are rather making the heathen to take advantage of the wealth of the word. Remember, Satan has nothing of his own. It is always God’s that he takes, then twists—he is a counterfeiter.
Dear, the truth is, you can have what you say if you add the power of the word to faith, righteousness, desire in the Name of Jesus Christ.
