Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom(Ecclesiastes 9:10). It means that whatever you want to do, do it with all your being without any divided attention. Your might is in your spirit which dwells in your being. Your spirit is the little power of the Almighty in you. It is that which empowers the body and soul to fulfil your purpose for being here and do things. If this might is plugged in God and you act in what you do without decided attention, you will accomplish great things. So, God said in Jeremiah 29:13 says “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” This means, if we seek God with our entire mind (spirit) we will find Him. If we can find God in this way, why can’t we find what we want if we search with all our might? Look at the following scriptures too:
Romans 12:11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Colossians 3:23 Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men,
1 Samuel 10:7 Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.
To worry is to worry your spirit which is the might of the Almighty God in you. So the bible warns us several times about this. The Lord Jesus too did talk about it in the earlier chapters of the book of Matthew. In fact, we need not to worry even in tough times because we have God. Secondly, worry wars against our spirit and prevent it from being itself. When this happens the spirit becomes weak and we get weak. When the spirit is weak and divided, there is no way we can have strength to go on and become great achievers, or achieve that which we need. God knowing this told us in Joshua 1 to be strong several times. To be strong is to condition your mind (spirit) to be plugged in God and never be done. We can excel if we deal with worries. Worries are enemies of progress.
